I recently created a big project of 14 robot replacement meshes with three recolours each, as overrides for the new servo that came with Discover University. I found the default servo hideously ugly and creepy, and decided I wanted more, and cuter, variety for my game and that hopefully other players would find the replacement robots useful too. My default replacements for the DU servos are at Mod The Sims:

Lots More Bots: www.modthesims.info/d/636792/lots-more-bots-21-new-servo-overrides.html
The Lots of Bots project was made from robot outfits and parts I previously uploaded at MTS, but Lots More Bots contained new material. So if you don't have DU but would still like to have robots, you can find the outfits or parts used in Lots of Bots under my profile at MTS, as Esmeralda, and in this upload, my fave five bots from Lots More Bots are converted to use as fullbody outfits for making regular sims into 'robots'.
Note: The outfits are found under Hair, not clothing. This is so that they stay on all the time, as hair does, and don't come off when 'nude'. So to make a sim into a robot, put them in CAS, and under Everyday, go into Hairs and choose their 'body' from my custom thumbnails there. They are all enabled for both Male and Female so should show up for whichever you choose. Once you apply the 'hair' for Everyday, it should then automatically apply itself under all categories, as regular hairs do.
Below, showing the three recolours for each bot, are Juicebot (inspired by Drinkin' Buddy from Fallout 4) made from a juice keg body, coffeemaker head and Sims 3 Plumbot limbs, the 'female' version of Sims 2 Servo but this time with added shades, and Lauren, made from Sims 3 Plumbot parts.
Next, the Simbot gal and Simbot guy from The Sims 3. And then below them: I disabled the outfits from being able to use hats, shoes or accessories, with the exception of wrist and hand accessories which do mostly work well with the robot bodies (except for TS2 Servo, whose large forearms won't show wrist accessories). So this way you can jazz them up a bit with bracelets, make them into 'killer bots' holding cc guns, or have them hold most any other cc accessory categorised for hands.
They are not enabled for Random, so you won't get random townies turning up in robot bodies. They are disabled from morphing, so they shouldn't get 'fat' or 'muscular'.
In game, they talk and behave like regular sims, as opposed to the DU servos who have a modified voice and some robot-specific actions (but aside from that, still behave like regular sims!).
For a quick look at them in action:
As you see at the end of the video, they of course don't recharge but sleep in bed instead (although even the DU servos will sometimes nap on the sofa like a human sim rather than assume the recharge position).
Thanks for looking, hope you'll find these bots a bit of fun.
