This is another 'chair' made just for sheer silliness and colourful fun. Cloned from the kitchen chair, it's a set of inflatable pool floats for your little characters to sit and relax in. They can be placed in water in the riverside or oceanside settlements, or in the puddle at Starlight Drive-In. For settlements with no access to bodies of water, you can use the optional above-ground pool included in the mod. There is also a mod on Nexus called Build Your Own Pool which I haven't tried but it might be possible to use their pools with the floats.
The floats come in three bright shiny colours and are depicted below being used in the Starlight Drive-In pond and in the included above-ground pool. They are all crafted from plastic in the Workshop, with the floats found in the Chairs category and the pool in the Rugs category (it is cloned from the rubber mat).
ISSUES WITH THE POOL: The pool does not have a footprint/navmesh, and characters walk through the sides of it to get to and from the floats. Also, I couldn't get an actual water plane to work with it, so had to make do with making a regular plane mesh and giving it a water texture. So it's not ideal, but if you like the idea of a goofy colourful pool to brighten up settlements, you can try it out. If not, the pools from Build Your Own Pool seem more realistic. Also, please note that if you want to move or scrap the pool, it's a bit hard to find the hitbox for getting it to light up - try the middles of the sides, near the top.
How to place the floats in the game's 'real' water: Thank you to my buddy Rafael for this technique, which works great. (In this example, we are using Starlight Drive-In's pond.) Go into Workshop mode and in the Wood Floors category, place a Shack Foundation piece at about the height shown in the below pic. Then position the inflatable floats as wanted, on top of the foundation.
Then, scrap the foundation, and all the floats will go tumbling into the water. Now they're ready to be used, by yourself, companions and settlers.
Use the same technique to place them in the river or sea.
And for landlocked settlements, the included pool is an option if you would like some colourful pool parties. NOTE: For the above-ground pool, as it has no footprint and no real water, you don't need the shack foundation trick - just place the floats directly in the pool.
