Ever wanted to show how hard and tough you are by fighting in just your undies? Now you can.
This is a new outfit I made from an unused mesh within the game files - it's a meshed underwear outfit consisting of an undervest plus boxers/trunks for men and boyshorts for women, as opposed to the painted-on underwear that is used in the game. Testing it in-game, the men's mesh worked fine but the women's mesh was faulty, it was one of those 'mesh explosions' where everything's all in zig-zags. I put the women's mesh in Outfit Studio and transferred the bones from the female nude body mesh, and now it's working normally.
The outfit comes in five colours/patterns for each gender, but the patterns differ for each, so that the women's are more girly and the men's are more manly. Looking at the bottom half of below pic shows that men and women both have Gingham and Paisley recolours, but they are in different variations. In the other three recolours, you will get a completely different recolour for men and women, for example 'M Plaid F Black Flowers' means men will get an outfit with plaid shorts and women will get a black flowers patterned outfit.
As also shown in the below pic, they are crafted at the chem station, with names that start with Ez Undies. They each use 2 cloth to make. Each outfit gives 2 Charisma, 90 Damage Resistance, 30 Rad Resistance, and they also give vault suit upgrades at an armour bench. (I cloned them from the vault suit.)
The ladies' colours:
And as also depicted above, they can also use all armour parts - chest, arms and legs.
The men's colours:
As usual, they can be worn by yourself, companions and settlers. Roger's ladies look just as fetching in them as he does, and the outfits look positively hilarious on men in combat.
ISSUE: As there wasn't a folded-up-clothes mesh for this item (the one you see if you drop the item on the floor), I linked them to the folded Summer Shorts mesh as the next closest item. But for some reason, that works in a buggy way in that sometimes you'll see the folded Summer Shorts outfit when you drop it on the ground, but sometimes you'll see a folded vault suit instead (but both still function correctly as the undies outfit when picked up and worn). I have no idea why...
