This is a mesh modification and recolour set of the 'Drifter' outfit seen occasionally on NPCs. I like the outfit but don't like the two pointy shirt-tail bits that hang down in front, or how torn the coat is in back. So I made some edits to the mesh to neaten those scruffy parts, plus cleaned up the textures a bit.
IMPORTANT NOTE RE ISSUES: Editing the outfit produced issues with the animations of the bottom half of the coat - the male version works about 90% OK, with a few odd wrinkles and billows here and there when the man walks, plus the man's legs will sometimes clip through the coat at the back, but the female version was a mess, with the bottom half of the coat detaching from the body and bouncing around in the air, and in the end I had to remove that mesh part because I simply could not get it to work. So note that as depicted below, the female version is a short waistcoat instead of a full coat. Removing the coat presented a problem with a gap at the waist on the women's version plus a blank waistband texture that is normally hidden by the coat, so I closed the gap and re-textured the waistband area with patterned scarf-type textures to make it look like the girl is wearing a scarf around her waist.
So please note the above if you're thinking of using this item. Hopefully the issues won't be too noticeable in game. Please let me know if you have any unexpected other problems with them in your own game, though.
The outfit comes in Black, Blue, and Brown.
They are crafted at the Chem Bench, found under the Utility category, with names that start with Ez Drifter Outfit. They cost two units of cloth, two units of leather, give 90 Damage Resistance, 1 Endurance, and 1 Perception.
As usual, they are wearable by yourself, companions, and settlers, of both genders - as mentioned, the women's outfit has had to be a short waistcoat version instead of the full coat, but I actually think the women's version looks quite cute like that.
The male version when walking - as mentioned, there will be some slightly-off billows or pointy shapes at the back of the coat when walking because of the mesh edit (the front tends to look OK), but hopefully not too glaringly noticeable.
